Who we are
Aesthetic medicine, delivered clinically
Doctor Care Aesthetics provides aesthetic treatments under the oversight of a pharmacist independent prescriber registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Prescription-only treatments are supplied only after a face-to-face assessment, as the law requires and as good practice demands.
Our approach is straightforward. We would rather spend longer in consultation and treat fewer people than move quickly and treat the wrong ones. If a treatment is not right for you — or if what you are asking for is not achievable — we will tell you.
Alongside the clinic, our London Aesthetics Academy trains practitioners in the same rooms, to the same standards. The two sides of the business are deliberately connected: teaching forces you to be able to justify what you do.

What we hold ourselves to
Prescriber-led throughout
Your treatment is assessed and delivered under the oversight of a GPhC-registered pharmacist independent prescriber. Prescription treatments are never supplied without a face-to-face assessment first.
Consultation before treatment, always
Every appointment begins with a proper consultation — medical history, examination, and an honest conversation about what is and is not achievable. If a treatment is not right for you, we will say so.
Treatment plans built around you
No two faces are the same and no two plans should be either. What we recommend is based on your assessment, your medical history and what you actually want — not on a fixed menu.
Realistic expectations, set early
We would rather have a straightforward conversation about what a treatment can and cannot do than leave you disappointed. You will always know what to expect before you consent.
Clinical standards, not a beauty-counter approach
Documented consent, full clinical records, batch traceability for every product used, and a written aftercare plan for every visit. The clinic runs to clinical governance standards throughout.

Teaching keeps practice sharp. The same standards that govern how we train practitioners are the ones we hold ourselves to when treating patients.

What actually happens, step by step

Enquiry
You get in touch or book online, telling us broadly what you are interested in.
- Step 2
Consultation
At the start of your appointment your prescriber takes a full medical history, examines the area, and discusses what you are hoping to achieve and what is realistically possible.
- Step 3
Consent
If treatment is appropriate and you want to go ahead, the risks, alternatives and aftercare are explained in full, and you give written consent. You are never rushed into this.
- Step 4
Treatment
Treatment is carried out in the same visit, with the product and batch recorded in your clinical notes.
- Step 5
Aftercare and follow-up
You leave with a written aftercare plan. Where a treatment has a defined monitoring window, we follow up with you directly.
Trust & credentials
What we are registered to do
Pharmacist independent prescriber
Our clinical lead is a pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, holding independent prescriber status. Prescription-only treatments are prescribed following a face-to-face assessment.
Insurance
The clinic holds appropriate professional indemnity and public liability cover for the treatments it offers.
Licensing
We do not offer laser or intense pulsed light treatments, which require a local authority special treatments licence. Our injectable and skin treatments are provided under the oversight of our prescribing clinical lead.
We do not display accreditations, memberships or awards that we do not hold. If a credential is not listed on this page, we do not claim it.
